Community Forums – Elections 2017
Make your voices heard and get your concerns and issues noted for the upcoming General Election. Also, hear from Electoral Commission Staff about the process of voting and get key information on key election dates. We are hosting three forums to which you can participate:
- Community Forum, Saturday 19th August at the Fickling Centre, Hillsborough Room, 546 Mt Albert Road, Three Kings, from 2.00pm to 4.00pm.
- Womens Only Election Forum – Friday 8th September, Wesley Community Centre, Tarapunga Room, 740 Sandringham Road Ext, 10.00am to 12.00noon.
- Meet the Candidates Community Forum – Sunday 27 August, The Mahatma Gandhi Centre, 145 New North Road, Eden Terrace, Auckland 1.30pm to 4.00pm.

Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
