New World's 'Fresh Friday'
Not sure if it is just our local one but two weeks ago they had Granny Smith at $1.99/kg (and I bought a lot and made three excellent Apple Crumbles), last week it was Oranges at $1.99, and yesterday it was Bananas at $1.99 (and I see a Banana Cake in my near future β¦ which isn't surprising as I'll make it myself). Kudos - affordable fruit and veggies is to be applauded.
