Police unveil plaque to commemorate officer Matthew Hunt

Kia ora neighbours, nearly a year after an Auckland police officer was killed in the line of duty, a memorial plaque has been unveiled for him at Henderson police station.


Matthew Hunt, a 28-year-old constable, was shot during a traffic stop in West Auckland on June 19, 2020.

Another police officer was also seriously injured during the incident.
