Instruments needed

Hi everyone, I run a community ensemble up in Northland, and I would like to know if there is anyone here with an old, unused instrument (like trumpets/violins/etc) at home that they would like to donate to the Kaipara Ensemble. We are also in need of a snare drum. We have several students who does not have the money for a new instrument and is missing out on the opportunity to learn because of this. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
