My quest to raise funds for an abused mum with two young kids
Hello there
In short, my dear friend has recently come out of an almost year long mentally & physically abusive relationship & I am hoping to reach out to the masses to get her back on her feet.
Please click on the below link & check out my Give A Little page & donate if you wish to, but more so, again, only if you feel comfortable in doing so, please pass my below link onto anyone you know who would be happy to make a donation, even if it's only $1 or $2, if I can reach out to 5,000 people & they donate that small amount, my goal will have been reached & I would be able to spread some true Christmas joy to a family in need.
I am new to this Give A Little thing, but needed to do something to help someone very close to me, out of her current predicament. I have set up a Give A Little page for my friend & her young kids who have become victims of a situation that has left them homeless & with no car. If you wish to ask any questions or know more information I will reply to any messages I receive.
Below is the link to my Give a Little page:

Thank you sincerely for taking the time to read my post & please, even if it's only to 1 or 2 people you know who might also be willing to donate, passing my post/link on, will help me tremendously in my quest.
Sincerest Regards
Yvonne
Some Choice News!
Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
The gift of giving …?
The author of “The Gift of the Magi” is O. Henry, a pseudonym for William Sydney Porter.
“The Gift of the Magi” is a poignant short story about a young couple, Jim and Della, who are deeply in love but financially struggling. With Christmas approaching and limited money, each decides to sacrifice their most prized possession to buy a meaningful gift for the other. Della sells her beautiful long hair to buy a platinum chain for Jim’s watch, while Jim sells his grandfather’s watch to buy a set of combs for Della’s hair. In the end, their love and sacrifice underscore the true spirit of giving during the holiday season.
🤔
I would say the story underscores the stupidity of Xmas gifts … after all, it is not YOUR birthday, so how about donating something to good causes and otherwise enjoying being together?
