As of Saturday morning, Auckland voter turnout was sitting at 31.48 per cent, which is 3.7 per cent lower than in 2016 and 1.7 per cent below 2013, which had the lowest ever turnout for an Auckland Council election.

Usually the last day of voting will add between two and three per cent, meaning this years election could fall short of the 2013 low of 35.2 per cent.

⭕Can you draw a perfect cirlce?⭕

It seems like a geeky thing to say, but everyone in school probably secretly looked up to that one artsy student who could draw near-perfect circles with their pencil.

Some might have convinced themselves they’d be able to snap up the talent once they were grownups, but if adulting has taught you anything, skills don’t come naturally with age.
This game proves drawing a perfect circle is just as tricky as it was when you were a child.
This is a perfect game to wind down on a Friday while preparing for the weekend.
A warning though, it is addictive to try and beat your 'best score'😉
Have fun😉

Good evening one and all.
While out on my walkabouts I have found a few plants that I either have forgotten the name of don't know it. I have tried to find the exact names of the following plants using various apps to no avail, so I thought I would ask the very helpful & knowledgeable people out here in Neighbourly land.
The first post is a beautiful tree/bush I came across with what looks like two colours for flowers. I know that it was two plants right next to one another. The flowers are bell like, waxy and very pretty.
One red and one white - both with yellow centres

Phil Goff has beaten John Tamihere to secure a second term as Auckland mayor.

"I think we would have got strong support from across Auckland and the strong diversity of the city," Mr Goff said."What we are doing to tackle climate change will be a big issue, it's a big issue for my generation and my children's generation." He also said he would prioritise a review of the Auckland Council structure, starting with the CCOs. "That will be one of my first tasks, getting a high powered group together to work with government." "I want this city of ours to be world class, inclusive and have an environment we protect, nurture and sustain." "I believe we can make this city a fantastic place to live in, work in and enjoy." Mr Goff was told the result over the phone at his election event in Kingsland this afternoon. Goff said he regrets the rivalry between himself and Tamihere "verged on personal at times." "I prefer to debate the issues, not the individual," he told the crowd at Auckland bar, The Kingslander. Craig Lord was in third place, with 25,000 votes. Only a third of New Zealanders voted in the election. "I think that's a real challenge, not only for us but right across New Zealand that only a third of the people actually went out and exercised democratic privilege," Mr Goff said.
