Topline's involvement in the winning project for the 2024 Auckland Architecture Award for Education

Jennie Gillespie from Topline Group

Ngākōroa School won the 2024 Auckland Architecture Award for Education. Topline was selected to do all roofing, gutters, downpipes, clear sheets, flashings and wall cladding on this site. Well done to Jasmax on receiving this fantastic award. We loved working with you and all involved!

"The buildings wrap informally around a courtyard, engendering a strong sense of place. Empathy for the ‘long fingers’ of the awa flowing conceptually through the site is evident in the landscape, galvanising the greenfields school within its surroundings and cultural heritage. Input from Ngāti Tamaoho has been valuable. A palette of soft timber, brick and finely detailed screens gives a domestic scale and intimacy to the structures. Inclusivity and safety are emphasised. Empowered by the senior teaching staff, the school reflects their energy and intensity for pedagogy. Flexible learning spaces combined with specialised spaces create a friendly and welcoming environment."

Age Well Kiwi

Mabel from Hillsborough

We are a new support group for seniors. We meet once a month to share our experience and discuss our challenges & concerns.

With the growth of our ageing population, and more seniors living alone, this group would explore and advocate/address the social, emotional and physical needs of our seniors, and promote positive and healthy ageing.

We meet on the first Saturday afternoon of the month in Mt. Roskill. Our next meeting will be 3 Jan 2026.

If you are interested in joining us and contribute your ideas, knowledge, experience, talents and resources, we would love to hear from you. Please contact us at agewellkiwi@gmail.com.
