Thank you for your support!
There's nothing like partying together at the Whau Chinese New Year Festival to build friendships and understanding.
More than 30 businesses and community groups, and over 100 volunteers will take part in the 2019 Chinese New Year event, which will feature a wide range of food stalls including Chinese specialties and international flavours, as well as cultural performances, art displays and family activities.
"This year, we are proud to involve St John New Zealand, Auckland Helicopter Rescue Trust, Eco Matters and the United Nations Association of New Zealand as our charity partners. We provide them with a free stall so they can raise awareness and fundraise," says Yang. "We want more people to embrace the concept of charity and give back."
