New facilities coming to Royal Reserve
Works to improve the facilities at Royal Reserve will be starting soon! Based on feedback from consultation with the community, the design includes a destination playground, learn-to-ride bike course, basketball half-court, shared pathways, more car parking, picnic facilities with BBQs and shelter, native planting and much more.
Construction is set to begin in early December 2016 and be completed by mid-2017, weather dependent.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
