More than 900 Aucklanders could have been exposed to measles, prompting the regional health service to contact them individually.
This week, Auckland Regional Public Health Service confirmed there were now nine confirmed cases across the region.
Four of the five new cases were linked to existing cases as they shared a household, but one was not linked. The woman, in her 40s, visited a number of supermarkets and a cafe.

Sighting of possible stolen pup Snowy late last night on Don Bucks Road Massey around the Redhills road shops.
Please keep an eye out for pup not wearing a collar and was heading toward Westgate.
