As a retired driving instructor I used to own one of Auckland's well known driving schools. I am now offering parents my driving lessons experience for free with all the tips and tricks on how to pass a driving test. Most parents do a great job of coaching their children but don't have the tools to get up to test standard.

Please Note : I am no longer taking people out in a car for driving lessons but have decided to do this neighbourly gesture for mums and dads :-)

There is nothing quite like a quality area rug to enhance the value of your home. From a statement piece for your lounge, a grand entry or providing a splash of colour in your family room, an area rug can play many roles. Not to mention adding warmth to cold floors in winters.

Among the many types of area rugs on the market, Persian and Oriental rugs, especially antique pieces, are particularly popular. They are not just stunning in their make, but if you buy the right antique piece, the value of your rug could appreciate over time.

Christmas with Grandad

Colleen Hawkes Reporter from Homed

It's that time of year - we all get a little nostalgic for Christmas' past. My grandad wasn't exactly the Grinch Who Stole Christmas, but he sure wanted it over and done with. Would love to hear your reminisces.
