Life just got easier for those who wear hearing aids!
A number of manufacturers offer a range of accessories to boost hearing aid performance (where required) to assist watching TV, talking on the phone (land line and mobile) and listening to music etc.
The current options for phone connectivity for hearing aids include:
- Direct to phone connection - using the styled for iPhone hearing aids for cell phones available through Starkey, GN ReSound and Oticon. Or direct land line connection by a remote, available from Oticon, Bernafon & Sonic.
- Direct management of the hearing aid function by phone - currently available for both iPhone and android - this allows you to use your phone as a remote control.
Options are available in a number of levels of hearing aid technology. This means you may not need the most expensive hearing aid option to access phone connections.

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
