Our Rotary Annual Charity Book Fair is on this week at Northcote College Hall in Kauri Glen Road, Northcote - for the following days:
- Thursday 11th July 11.00 am to 5.00 pm
- Friday 12th July 9.00 am to 5.00 pm
- Saturday 13th July 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Please note the slight change in days this year! Once again it will be free entry - except for the period 11.00 am to midday on Thursday 11th July, when there will be the usual charge of $10 entry.

The Environmental Protection Authority announced this week that a proposed mine in Central Otago (near Cromwell) is about to enter its fast-track assessment process. A final decision could come within six months, and if it’s approved, construction might start as early as mid-2026.
