FOUND. White cat, may be blind.
Hi everyone. Has anyone lost a white cat that may be blind? She showed up here about 2 weeks ago, very scared and doesn't seem to be able to see. She is maybe a Siamese or Burmese. She started hiding under our deck, and we were able to put food out for her to eat, but she will not let us close enough to touch her or pick her up. We really want to catch her and get her checked for a microchip, but last night she wandered away and is now walking around the Felgrove, Farquhar end of Thornlow street. I don't have a picture but if she's yours hopefully this will help you find her. I'll keep looking for her, as she is very confused and dazed, but it's difficult as she won't let me touch her.
Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝
In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”
We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?
Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.

Product recalls
I am appalled at the number of product recalls - salmon to snack balls to a huge range of toys. Not good enough manufacturers! Surely products are health and safety checked.
