It was World Book Day on the 23rd of April, so what better time to celebrate some of our talented residents who have published books.
They range from children’s books, to poems, from non-fiction to a first novel - and all are proof that there is no age limit when it comes to creativity!

1 bedroom unit or similar
Kia ora community.
We are on the hunt for a 1 bedroom unit/sleep out type accommodation with kitchen and bathroom for my elderly Grandma. She is self sufficient and enjoys spending her days drawing/painting. She’s not fussy but we’re hoping to find a place local to Glen Eden as she loves her weekly trips to the 2 dollar shops 😆
Just thought I’d post on here to see if anyone had anything becoming available in the near future.

Vegetable prices
Heads up on vege prices. I have been surveying - Supermarkets cauliflower is 3.99. Margan Ave New Lynn and Bishop Street Green Bay cauliflower price: $2.85 -good quality. All other veges also much cheaper at the vege shops.
