🌺🌸Flower/plant identification required please🌸🌺

Fiona from Henderson

I have 2 more plants that I need your excellent help in identifying please.
I saw these in a friend's garden and for the life of her, she couldn't remember what they were - we all have those blank moments.
1. The first one is a delicate one with beautiful tiny purple petals with grey like 'pods' on the long stem.
2. The second one is a bush type plant with larger leaves at the bottom and smaller leaves as it got taller. The flower sits on a very long stem.
Thank you all in advance.

GARDEN REMOVAL AND FENCE

Pauline from New Lynn

Hi, the above job is available for a builder or fencing person which includes complete removal of an L shaped garden to grass level and taken away plus putting up a new wooden fence, same height as letterbox, along the footpath. I would like 3 separate quotes done this time, but Please Note i will NOT be paying any money upfront until the whole job is finished and am more than happy to sign something to this regard. I have already lost $600 so no over the top quotes will be accepted. Thanks

Celebrating 90 years

The Team from Auckland Museum

Imagine receiving this pamphlet in your letterbox. Would you be compelled to donate?

In 1923 this was sent out to Auckland's citizens, requesting help to raise the remaining £50,000 of the total £200,000 which was needed to build the new Auckland War Memorial Museum. It included a call to donate, initial drawings of the planned Museum and a list of early donors.

The people of Auckland came through and all the funds were raised! The new Auckland Museum was opened on 28 November 1929.

We’re celebrating 90 years of Auckland Museum in Auckland Domain. Read more about the origins of the building here.
