The Team from Glen Eden Bowling Club

Hey you, yes YOU! You're invited to visit our club to "Have A Go" for yourself and discover just what a fantastic game lawn bowls is.

Friday 18th October 5.00pm - 7.00 pm
Tuesday 22nd October 1.00pm - 3.00 pm
Thursday 24th October 1.00pm - 3.00 pm
Saturday 26th October 1.00 pm - 4.00 pm

People of all ages and abilities can play, competitively or for some active social exercise. It is easy to learn and great fun to play. Come along and Have A Go...simply pop into the club during one of our Have A Go days in October.

We'll supply all the equipment you need, just turn up on the day with a pair of flat soled shoes and let the good times roll!

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
