Community Junior Football Programme

Andrew Diver from Forrest Hill Milford AFC

Forrest Hill Milford United Football Club is now taking registrations for its Skill Centre Open summer programme.
Skill Centre Open is our core community programme offering a tightly scripted, all abilities programme for players aged 9-12 including players who played in Grade 8 in 2019.
This is a skills based programme, catering for both boys and girls, that has an emphasis on fun.

Girls and boys are grouped together at ages 9 and 10. At ages 11 and 12 there are specific gender based groups for boys and girls.

We offer 2 session options per week either on a Monday or a Wednesday starting at 4pm for 9-10s and 5.15pm for 11-12s.

The 9 and 10 year olds are in groups of 10 players per session and the 11 and 12 year olds are in groups of 12 players for their sessions.

A coach is allocated to each Group and the sessions will be delivered at Becroft Park. All our coaches have gone through a rigorous, independent licensing process.

The cost for the programme is $150 per player for both Mondays and Wednesdays or $80 for a Monday only or a Wednesday only.

The programme commences Wednesday 30th October 2019 and runs through to Wednesday 18th December 2019.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
