I just read an article how “everyone can be better off” by taxing low income earners much more and giving tax breaks to the rich - effectively moving money from poor to rich.

I’m flabbergasted that ANYONE would dare to bullshit people like this - but then quite a few voted for him, so maybe he is right thinking quite a few Kiwis will believe anything. After all, if it works for Trump …

What I don’t get is that he isn’t challenged much more in interviews.
