The Memories of Elvis Fan Club NZ invite you, your family and friends to our Annual Free Elvis Day on Sunday January 10th 2021 at Cranwell Park in Henderson (past the Westwave Pools) Starts at 11am finishes at 5pm. 6 top Elvis Entertainers and 2 new faces to entertain you over the day. Bring your sun tan lotion, water, chairs, some cash and be ready to dance. Park at Tui Glen and walk over the bridge to Cranwell Park. Check out the Hot Rods and the Classic Cars on display. Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
