Over priced fuel - WHY?
So, as of 17.20 (today), the price of crude oil dropped to US$27.60 (WTI) and it's till dropping and has been for a while now.

Has been since the Russians have decided to step in and say that they have had enough of the Saudi Arabia's control over crude oil.
So, have our delightful (yes, sarcasm) fuel companies dropped the price of fuel here?
Nope, not a chance in hell will they drop the price and I have a sneaking suspicion that Government will back them.
As the Government has lost a lot tax from cigarettes (as they want a healthy nation), they have to make up their huge lost tax revenue somewhere else.
We've tried boycotting - all of 1 day per large fuel firm and that made zero difference, so now they have us by the proverbials. What now?
Going the electric route, isn't any cheaper either and not even as eco/green as we are being force feed to believe i.e. the lithium ion batteries are the main reason for this. The cost of mining and destruction to get the lithium and at the other end, the safe disposal of said batteries.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?
Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
