Karate Classes at YMCA Northcote
A heads up to the lovely people here that the karate club at YMCA Northcote is resuming classes from 2 Feb. :)
Though COVID made it tricky, especially considering it was our first year, we somehow managed to pull through with 5 students clearing their grading exams at the end of the year! We're all set to face 2021 now, and are in search of more people who would like to give it a try.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
