BELMONT CMA CENTRE SUPERVISOR

North Shore CMA is a not for profit organisation who provide fun and morning activities for isolated older people on the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast.

We are seeking a community minded person to take responsibility of the Belmont centre at the Rose Centre in School Road Belmont - commencing asap. This is a paid 10 hrs p/w position with the centre operating on a Thursday morning. This position is a contract for work during primary school term times only until December 19 2019, with the possibility of it becoming permanent– no work during school holidays so may suit a busy Mum.



You will lead a team of volunteers to run an activities programme, including strength and balance exercises, for the members of the centre with emphasis on building numbers at this centre. The successful applicant will have empathy for older people, proven organisational experience and be familiar with the Microsoft Office suite. An advantage will be experience working with volunteers but this is not essential. You must be able to work unsupervised and be responsive to deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
