Glenfield White Cross after hours charges.
For non enrolled patients of White Cross, after hour fees will not be subsidized anymore. They have lost their subsidy from the DHB's as they do not open 24 hours a day. This means that the only after hours subsidized clinic is Shorecare or North Shore hospital Emergency Dept or Henderson. Personally I think removing subsidies from this clinic will lead to longer waiting times and sicker people at the others. What do you think should be done about it.

Auckland Harbour Bridge summer works
NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is carrying out essential maintenance on the Auckland Harbour Bridge this December and January. The southbound clip-on lanes will be closed (24/7) from 26 December to 5 January for road resurfacing. Night-time lane restrictions will be in place throughout the summer for recoating work on the bridge. Traffic will still be able to travel in both directions at all times.
