The new Fordham Street to Lanigan Street bridge is due to be opened for use by the end of next week, in time for the new school year!
The old bridge was destroyed by fire early last year and has had to be completely replaced. New steps are now being completed and then the bridge needs to pass an inspection, before it is opened to the public.
Thanks to Ventia and Auckland Council for getting this important connection completed. Funded by the Kaipātiki Local Board.

Pictured are the new bridge and the destroyed bridge.
