Jetstar passenger told to stow dirty nappy at her feet during flight

Caroline Williams Reporter from North Shore Times

A mother on board a one-hour Jetstar flight couldn't find a rubbish bin in the plane's toilet to dispose of her son's soiled nappy. Instead, she left the nappy inside a nappy bag "safe" in the toilet's corner.

She said she was humiliated by a flight attendant who exclaimed loudly that she couldn't leave it there because it was "very stinky", and demanded she retrieve the nappy to stow at her feet.

Have you experienced a similar issue while traveling with your baby? Do you have an in-flight horror story?

Attention: Bird Lovers and people with building skills.

Chris from Mairangi Bay

We'll be rescuing now-retired local legend "The Bird Lady" Sylvia Durrant's handmade aviaries and transporting them to the park we are making at Mairangi Arts Centre to bring them back to life and use in a self-learning programme about (among other things) DIY bird first aid.

I really need help/advice on how to dismantle and re-assemble the aviaries.

I would be super grateful if anyone can help in any way.
