Three Waitakere hospital staff test positive for Covid-19
Kia ora neighbours, three healthcare workers at Waitakere hospital have tested positive for coronavirus.
The staff worked on a ward where patients with the virus from St Margaret’s Hospital and Rest Home were transferred due to staffing shortages at that facility. A spokesman for Waitematā DHB said immediate steps were being taken to manage any potential risk to patients and staff following the positive results.

With the growth of our ageing population, and more seniors living alone, this group would explore and advocate/address the social, emotional and physical needs of our seniors, and promote positive and healthy ageing.
We meet on the first Saturday afternoon of the month in Mt. Roskill. Our next meeting will be 3 Jan 2026.
