Chemicals that are bad for your skin (Skincare +Makeup)

Fakhra from Mount Roskill

The effects of toxins in cosmetics can be pretty damaging. Ranging from conditions like skin irritations & allergic reactions, they can lead to more serious health problems like cancer & hormonal imbalances. Many research and studies also confirm the toxicity and harmful effects of these chemicals in skincare, makeup and overall beauty products. While we can't avoid all a100%, here's a list to start with that are known to be more than just a little bad!

In the article (link below), I have discussed in detail the following aspects relating to each one of these ingredients:

·         Products in which these are used.
·         What each ingredient is.
·         Harmful effects on skin & health.
·         Alternatives that can be used.
·         Other names they go by (synonyms)
