Matakawau recycling drop off station to close
Auckland Council is taking all the necessary precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and has made the decision to close the recycling drop-off station at Matakawau on the Āwhitu Peninsula.
The station closure will safeguard the wellbeing of the local community, as well as staff and contractors who manage the collections from the drop-off station. The drop-off station, located at Matakawau Road, Matakawau will close until further notice.
Local residents, community groups, and businesses that currently use the drop-off station are encouraged to use Auckland Council’s roadside recycling service.
