Embracing Cook Islands Language Week
In the next three months, Te Oro Art Gallery in East Auckland is embracing the rich culture of the Pacific Islands. Cook Islands Language Week is from July 30 and first to be featured at the Glen Innes public art centre. Following Cook Islands Language Week, Te Oro hosts events to celebrate the languages and culture of five other Pacific nations: Tonga, Tuvalu, Fiji, Niue, and Tokelau.
