Poll: More freedom camping spots
A two-month pilot programme starting this week opens up 29 locations from Wellsford to Pukekohe for tourists in campervans and tents to stay overnight.
Eastern Beach Caravan Park, Howick Village and Lloyd Elsmore Park are among the sites.
