Paw Justice is running the free event from 9 am to 1.30 pm with a 1.5 kilometre walk along Milford Beach, entertainment, custom choppers and American muscle cars on display.
Animal rescue groups will be there to talk about the many shelter dogs needing a new home.
You can walk with one of the rescue dogs- or even adopt one.

Roger the wood pigeon makes comeback
Meet Roger the wood pigeon that is blind in one eye.
Roger cuts a well known figure in the Greenhithe community.
The bird was last spotted in the area nearly three years ago but has just made a comeback.
Roger is reported to be well and thriving.

Gardening is on this Sunday 1st November 2020 at Opaketai Beach Haven Garden from 9.00am to 11.00am.
We will be moving a bit more mulch in to the garden and weeding out as our garden is included in the Beach Haven Garden Ramble on Nov 21st 2020. Bring tools and bucket for weeds :)

Kayaker plucked from Manukau Harbour
Art has imitated life for Counties Manukau police.
Police Eagle helicopter crew were talking on camera about water safety when they were called to a real rescue on the Manukau Harbour.
The officers were starring in a video about dangers at sea ahead of Labour Weekend.

Police Eagle helicopter crew were talking on camera about water safety when they were called to a real rescue on the Manukau Harbour.
The officers were starring in a video about dangers at sea ahead of Labour Weekend.
It took them a moment to realise the call about a kayaker in trouble was real- rather than a stitch up.
They stopped filming and rushed to the harbour after the alarm was raised about 3.20 pm on October 20.
Helicopter crew soon spotted the kayaker, who was plucked to safety by the Coastguard.
The kayaker was reported to be safe and well.
