POISON being dropped from the air Do you live near Amberley on Douglas Road

Sandi from Hurunui District

Does anyone else have land with patches that had grass turn WHITE and no stock would eat it? ( even before it went white) and then in this spring no grass grew there? Iam taling like 12 acres not just a small patch. I have identified the poison that has been dropped now I need to find if anyone else has been affected so that the Environment Protection Agency can continue their investigation . I have seen on patch the same at a property just NW of Amberley on Mt Brown Road just past the junction of Douglas road on the left when going north. I dont know who owns that land to get in touch with them. I think it maybe the house on that corner but their gate is locked and I dont know their name to look them up to phone them . ( They sell organic walnuts outside their gate) Can anyone help please as would like to speak with them to see IF they know what happened to their land

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
