RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET
This Sunday 27th October, (Labour weekend) the RANGIORA SUNDAY MARKET will be on again at the BLAKE STREET CAR PARK from 9 am to 2 pm. FREE ENTRY. A great variety of stalls with lots of bargains for all from health products, garden sculptures, fishing rods, scented soaps, woodcraft, toys, clothing for adults and children, Garden tools, handy person tools, hats for the summer months,plants including swan plants, garlic, herbs, bedding plants, perennials etc, the LIONS sausage sizzle with onions on the right side. AND in our club rooms next to the market, THOMAS AND FRIENDS for the children to operate.
don't forget the great coffee and food at FOOLS OF DESIRE at the market end of Conway lane.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
