Waikuku bus service likely to be retained
Residents are celebrating after Waikuku bus trips may possibly be retained.
Waikuku residents rallied round to save the bus, calling a meeting with Environment Canterbury after it proposed cancelling the service. They're now working towards allowing up to two trips each weekday to and from Waikuku.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
