After-hours healthcare trial launched in North Canterbury
Local GPs have teamed up with St John to improve after-hours care in rural North Canterbury.
The new trial is in response to community feedback about ways to improve health services for the Hurunui community.
Patients can now access after-hours care, either emergency or otherwise, through St John or an on-call doctor or nurse.
