If you haven't been out to the Balcairn hall for like ever, you are missing something really special... only 10 minutes from Rangiora you'll find a classic country hall and a passionate community of supporters.
Next Saturday, June 9th, there will be a concert featuring Jeremy Brownbrooke, Mary Dunne and Phil Doublet performing as BottleLake Junction.
With a total of ten instruments between them; a bunch of original songs and tunes; throw in some top notch arrangements and tight three-part harmonies; and there you have it. Christchurch’s newest Country-Celtic-Bluegrass band.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
