Several suspicious fires lit on Christchurch's Port Hills
Police and fire investigators are making inquiries into a series of fires believed to have been started deliberately on Christchurch’s Port Hills.
A number of crews were sent to extinguish four “small vegetation fires” scattered across the Port Hills between midnight and about 1am on Wednesday, Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) spokesman Brent Dunn said.

Response to regifting presents
My mind tends to wander:
I do not see any problem with regifting it back to the person who gave it, they obviously liked it. In fact, that might work out well as you buy the present you want, then gift it to someone you know who will gift it back.
Perfect, no decision needs to be made about Xmas presents
