There will be a great range of books on sale most at $2 each.
The doors will open at 8am on Saturday until 5pm, and on Sunday opening at 9am until 2 pm.

Loads of fiction, travel, cooking, gardening, hobbies, biographies, books, puzzles and games and musical material – enough to satisfy everyone on the whole of Kapiti Coast at least until next year’s Bookfair.
And as always, the funds raised will go to many needy organisations.

Spend a very unique weekend visiting some of Kapiti’s most interesting private gardens. Invite some friends, enjoy some great food on the trail and support two great local charities.
For the last 22 years Waikanae Lions Club has organised and managed this special local event, each year providing the public with the opportunity to visit much loved private gardens. Over that time the event has raised over $600,000 for the recipient charities.
This year there are 13 gardens:
55 Waimea Rd, 269 Te Moana Rd, 23 Millvale St, 31 Millvale St, 11 Charnwood Gve, 95 Park Ave, 364 Te Moana Rd, 15 Hurunui St, 2A Kowhai Gve, 10 Sunny Glen, , 21 Karu Cres, 18 Kotare St, 15 Matuhi St.

The recipients this year will be Zeal and the Cancer Society. Zeal is a not-for-profit youth organisation developing a centre in Paraparaumu and the Cancer Society needs no explanation.
Tickets $20 per person per day. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 15 FREE.
