Commuters in Cambridge will soon enjoy the results of almost two years of roadworks, with the newly-sealed road and upgraded roundabout now open to two lanes.
Waipā District Council project delivery manager Jean de Villiers said the milestone will come as a welcome relief to many who travel the Cambridge Rd route daily along one of the town’s largest growth corridors.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
