Grateful thanks
To all the wonderful people who stopped and helped look for the car keys that the silly old couple had lost up Marsden Valley Road yesterday, Wednesday 21 May, our heartfelt thanks. We really appreciated your thoughtfulness and kindness. Thankfully, in the end the keys were found - under the front passenger seat in the car, tangled up with dog leashes and umbrellas. Somehow the keys had been dropped on the car floor when the three dogs were put back in the car after their walk, and the dogs must have pushed them under the seat in their excitement and the chaos that ensued. Thank you SO much for helping us.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
