Karori Repair Cafe

Julia from Karori

4 sleeps to go! Sunday 21st May, 11am to 2pm, in the Karori Community Centre

We are live this weekend and looking forward to this great community event!
This is your chance to see if we can help you repair your treasured thing, saving it from landfill.

On hand we have fantastic sewers, all-round handy people computer repair people, electrical skills and more.
What to bring:
- your broken torn failing item
- any spares that might help your problem - a replacement plug for an appliance, a patch for those holey shorts etc - we will have some on hand but contributions gratefully received
- koha
- appetite & coins for the Karori West Scout Group sausage sizzle
- not your toaster - still needing to say no to those tricky appliances sorry
This is our first repair café so be patient with our team of awesome support crew and skilled volunteers, as we navigate this new initiative.
And don't forget you can bring your additional non-kerbside recycling such as clean open tetrapaks, household batteries, sports equipment, pens, small metal items and we will get them to a useful place.

See you there!

Julia, Karin and Tracey
