Thanks!

Pablo Delgado from Beach Haven and Birkdale Community Watch

Hello Community!

Firstly, we want to say a big thank you to you all for continuously sending us messages to report suspicious activities in the area. This collective effort allows us to plan our patrol routes in a way to maximise our deterrent effectively. A FRIENDLY REMINDER: Ring 111 (ask for Police) for immediate attention and 105 to report an incident for the police to follow-up on later. We do not work for the NZ Police, we are just volunteers working in partnership focused on prevention.

We also want to give thanks to all the people that believe in what we are doing for our Neighbourhood Crime Prevention Project. We have been received an overwhelming amount of supporting comments on our social media accounts recently. It is 100% your trust what fuels our efforts to constantly look for ways to improve our practices therefore always providing a better service for all who live here.

Our coordination with our local Police Officers has made a remarkable movement during these past few weeks. We are proud to announce that the NZ Police now have real-time unlimited access to all our patrol logs and reports, and extract any of our information they deem useful for their mahi.

We want to thank you for your incredible donations as it is your generosity is what keep our cars running and our marriage partners….quiet! We want to give a special mention to members of our community who donate small regular amounts especially, it is humbling beyond measure. These donations gave many of our volunteers a sense of confirmation that you believe in us, you support our vision, you want us to keep going & see more of what we do. PLEASE KEEP DONATING as all donations, big or small, allow our volunteers to keep going without adding an extra financial burden to their lives at home during these increasingly hard times.

We need more volunteers, especially now that the weather is improving and is only getting better, providing longer time periods for offenders to harm and make our neighbourhoods unsafe.
