Flaxmore Quarry Blasting
Does anyone else on here live within reach of the Flaxmore Quarry in Market Road?? Today they blasted and believe me, it was the worst they have ever done. Visitors thought it was a 5-6 on Richter scale earthquake. House shook like nobodys business for a few seconds.
These blasts are getting worse and worse and I shudder to think of potential and actual damage being done to houses. What are anyone elses thoughts/comments on this.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
