Kiwis spend over $2.6 billion on gambling

New data released by the Department of Internal Affairs shows that Kiwis spent over $2.6 billion on the four types of gambling in the 2020/21 financial year. The overall spend is the highest it has been in five years.

The Government announced last week that they will be reviewing the regulations for harm minimisation for Class 4 gambling machines (pokies). Make sure to have your say!
