Fairview Nursery

We have small cabbage trees in 10cm pots grown in pairs or triples. (See picture)

These are planted in pairs/triples so they grow in a cluster and spread out and upwards from each other. Per pot $4.50, for 10 or more $4 each. (Larger sizes also in stock)

Cordyline australis, commonly known as the cabbage tree, tī kōuka or cabbage-palm, is a widely branched monocot tree endemic to New Zealand.

Tī kōuka grow up to 20 metres (66 feet) tall with a stout trunk and sword-like leaves, which are clustered at the tips of the branches and can be up to 1 metre (3 feet 3 inches) long. With its tall, straight trunk and dense, rounded heads, it is a characteristic feature of the New Zealand landscape. Its fruit is a favourite food source for the kererū and other native birds. It is common across New Zealand.

FAIRVIEW is a small Kapiti based nursery with stocks of various locally sourced native trees, flaxes and grasses.

We have over 100 native species in our nursery.

Please phone to arrange a visit: 0274 933 626 (Appointment Only Please).
