Maree Dunlop from Top of the South Neighbourhood Support

****JOIN NEIGHBOURHOOD SUPPORT AND BE IN THE DRAW TO WIN A LARGE PREMIUM FIRST AID KIT**** Join as an individual or one of our street groups.

Top of the South Neighbourhood Support is an inclusive organisation. It is not about religion, politics, ethnicity or the language(s) you speak - everyone is welcome. We partner with NZ Police, FENZ, Civil Defence Emergency Management, councils and work alongside many local organisations...It is about how we can work together as a community 24/7.

Community Connection is the main objective, then comes the = emergency resilience during pandemics, natural disasters etc - Crime prevention - Fire & Safety prevention - Emotional well-being for residents in a connected street - knowing how you can help and watch out for each other with all of the above scenarios.

Ideally it works best where there are set up groups and we support and provide the necessary resources to help you get started including access to training sessions, which provide you with the resources you need to connect your group;

• For crime, fire and safety prevention information

• For emergency preparedness & resilience for your street group in the event of any kind of emergency, including pandemics and natural disasters...

OR you are more than welcome to join as an individual and receive our monthly email and local crime report.

EVERY household who signs up to our network can receive a free welcome pack that contains our Neighbourhood Support Stickers and prevention advice from our strategic partners.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
