HAVE YOU SIGNED THE CIVIC CENTRE PETITION TO MDC YET?

Lyn from Masterton District

Masterton Action Group (MAG) and the newly established Masterton Ratepayers' and Residents' Assn (MRRA) have launched a petition seeking Masterton District Council halt further action on the proposed $30M civic centre until further consultation and a referendum of the community is completed.

This petition can be signed on line on the website www.mastertonrra.org... or there are static sites set up around Masterton during the month of August for you to sign in person (Paper Plus, Regent Theatre, Designer Court, Tunnell Tyres, The Screening Room, Mitre 10). The petition closes on 29 August.

The intention is to present this petition to Council at their September meeting. They won't listen to us individually, but they will have to listen to us if we have the community behind us, but we need your support to make a difference so please sign up now! www.mastertonrra.org...
