Tsunami siren test on Sunday 4 April
Today at noon (Sunday 4 April) Auckland Emergency Management will be testing the tsunami siren network across the Auckland region. This is a test we do twice a year with the change of day light saving which allows us to check that the sirens are working as they should. During the test, the sirens may sound a number of times for a maximum of 10 minutes, you are not required to do anything.
We will only be testing the siren network and not the other alerting systems.
You can find out more info about our siren testing and the locations of the tsunami sirens here: bit.ly...
Could the jury service process be improved?

But for some, jury service can be a huge disruption and a financial burden. Do you think changes could be made to our jury service system to address these challenges?
