Here are the details
The first Kapiti Genealogy Meetings for the year
* Tuesday - Branch evening meeting
Tues 26 January A catch up with what's been happening and the topic "My Ancestors Journey to/arrival in New Zealand.
So bring along your stories of how and when your ancestors arrived
Meetings are held on the 4th Tuesday Jan – Nov 7.00 p.m supper, 7.30 p.m – 9.00 p.m
$3.00 fee for non members.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
